What a great explanation of the spiritual quest. I believe that our internal lives are the classroom, our experiences the curriculum. You cannot grow spiritually unless you examine your feelings, desires, motivations, and responses to every experience, particularly the most painful and difficult. People who go through life accepting without question whatever their chosen spiritual leader expounds, cheat themselves out of the unique lessons they are here to learn through personal experience. To grow, you must move forward using your current strengths/knowledge applied to your own unique circumstances. You find what doesn't feel right, and you correct it, building on your spiritual base. Thanks for the great article, keep up the good work.
