Spirit of the Collective

There is a powerful spirit that connects and holds together our tribal groupings.  These connecting energies are powerful enough to override our own individual spiritual attainments.

Many people in the spirit of the mob will act out of character with their individual personalities. Act in ways they would not act alone in a similar situation. For example kicking a helpless person on the ground perceived as “the enemy”, this violates most civilized tribal society rules. We need to see this tendency in our own community group in our political and/or religious ideologies.

When we discover people in our own group lashing out with hate and violence we are likely to shrink back in cowardly fear. Believing if we push against our own ideology they will turn on us in a similar way. Unless you were defending a fellow friend or family member the courage needed to speak-out against such hatred is hard to muster.

As we look at the tribal battles surfacing across the planet there are no good-sides, there are only competing sides.  We do well to ask if our side is acting with violence and hatred. Can we truly embrace such evil tactics and remain spiritually centered? Do we really want this to manifest in our own physical experience?

Who is promoting or glorifying such violence? What ideological tribal vision would ever want to condone such violence? Who would want their family and friends to be so threatened? Such barbaric behavior is instigated among ideological devotees who flame the negative sensations of fear and anger. They blame all their suffering on “the others”, and then attack out of this dark state of fear.

It is incumbent upon us as spiritual individuals to protect ourselves from this hostility. We need to lovingly challenge our own tribal community to turn off the ideological banter and propaganda.  We need to adopt and create a new bigger tribe of human connection built on love and respect.

It has to start with our own willingness to display spiritual openness toward those of other tribes. Be courageous enough to call out the bad actors within our own sphere of influence.

Leading the Way in Spiritual Openness

Those on the spiritual quest who have managed to gain control of their own inner spiritual sensations must become the leaders of our new world. As we dare to call out those in our own tribal alliances many of the peace loving majority will stand up and have our back.  As we see others taking such bold actions to lead the way toward loving openness and connection we need to step up and support them as well.

The earth is now going through a major shake-up as we transition from our animalistic instinctive desires for self-survival to the next level of loving human connection. Those who lash out at others, who are still unconsciously driven by their tribalistic insecurities, will continue to suffer more and more as their tribal world and animalistic behaviors dissolve.

All of humanity is spiritually changing. The vast majority of human beings have already experienced their own tribal battles or watched the abuse of other human beings.  They fear being exposed to such pain and suffering. They worry about their own personal futures. Through this chaos we are triggering a new spiritual awakening. We can no longer resist the powerful desire for positive change.

All of humanity will transition to this new love space as we finally reach spiritual openness on a global scale.  Sadly, until this is fully implemented, those who remain on the dark-side will continue to suffer. Those fighting and promoting hatred will become louder and louder until they cease to exist or convert to accepting this new spiritually united world.

Tap into your own spiritual acuity. Soberly consider your own inner spiritual conditioning on being open to others.  Look inside to find where you are blocked, where you harbor hatred. Where you label others and feel negative sensations about them. Our spiritual openness to these discoveries will help unite and heal our ailing planet.

A Spiritual Cry From CORONA

The biological effects of this corona-virus are changing the consciousness of the entire world. Everyone is now uniting around the question of where do we go from here?

CORONA VIRUS WHAT’S HAPPENING?

The world has become more and more polarized, creating deep cutting separation and disconnects. These disconnections now extend into immediate family members living in the same household. We occupy the same physical space but our social networks and ideological associations are truncated in the digital world of virtual reality. We are connected by algorithms and are bombarded with input to support our own biases. This reaffirms our personal views. We believe the entire world agrees with us, because that’s all we ever see.

The artificial intelligence (AI) of computer-generated connections are polluting our biological human connections that have served to manage human civilizations since the birth of time. The children born and raised in this AI world are part of digital communities that have put family members, living in the same household, in completely different worlds.

Children are developing and expanding at a pace that is breaking the familial ties of physical communities. The speed of change is so great that those raised on old connections of biological and human interactions are worried about the effects on their own children and grandchildren.

Throughout human history such revolutionary changes always led to a unifying energy among the collective to unite and pursue their own cause. These groups were primarily connected and organized by sensing and exploiting the negative associations within their own space of connection. Now everyone is feeling alienated to one degree or another; and this pace of change will only continue to hasten.

Human history is just story after story of world conquerors; who always rise to power on a vision of hope and change. The power they accumulate from the group collective eventually corrupts, as the saying goes, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The masculine, action driven, youthful demand for growth and expansion was always balanced by the feminine love energy that united the collective. Today the collective is no longer an us versus them; it’s us versus us. We need to bring the total power of the love connection to bear on all fronts in this ideological battle we are having with ourselves.

The biological effects of this corona-virus are changing the consciousness of the entire world. Everyone is now uniting around the question of where do we go from here?

The answers will come when we achieve a conscious collective mindset. Uniting for the good of the whole; which includes everyone and everything that exists in our world. We will win this or we will lose this together. It’s happening right now in front of our eyes; nature is demanding a world-wide collective desire for change.

Change is inevitable, but what kind of change will it be? Our role is to work at disseminating and spreading a “love virus” as an infection to unite everyone. Every ideological corner of humanity needs to embrace love. A “love virus” of connections; making it the unifying principle to connect and re-connect all of humankind.

In every community and sub-group within communities there is a completeness of human connectivity. That completeness has formed the building blocks of uniting people throughout history.

That community connection includes all types of persons and personalities to function holistically as a united whole. Some are strong warriors protecting the group, others teachers to educate the group. There are leaders to lead the group, builders who build the group, caregivers who care for the group, entertainers who entertain the group, healers that heal the group, challengers who challenge the group, and every other cause and effect connection that make up human civilizations world-wide are connected and driven by love.

We are a bunch of communities built on love connections among ourselves and our individual group identities. The new level of love connections require that we rise above our own group identifications and ideologies to reach a higher degree of connection that connects the disconnected among these groups.

This is the calling of the spiritual worlds. It has been calling humanity to this higher level of enlightened consciousness, the connection of humanity as one living functioning organism working for the good of the whole.

Humanities Transformation into Spiritual Adulthood

Here is a hypothesis on human transformation into adulthood, presented as a supposition or proposed explanation to explain the chaos engulfing America and western civilization.  This is presented as a starting point for a discussion to further explore and investigate ourselves from a spiritual point of view.

By spiritual we mean beyond the limited structure of science, math and deductive reasoning the foundations of Western Civilization; to also include the esoteric, emotional, supernatural and other phenomenon that penetrate the human psyche.

Individual Chaos The Path to Sanity

As individuals we grow by pursuing our own desires as we seek to satisfy ourselves entirely.  We learned to balance our individual animalistic tendencies to encompass our tribal ideals and cultural expectations to maximize our self-serving interests.

Humanity as a collective has been growing and developing along this same egotistical self-serving path since the beginning of time. People have been dividing by family and then geography into local communities. Next we developed allegiances to regional group identities. This development process was also driven by our individual desires for sanity and survival.

We individually love and hate as we battle for supremacy in our relationships, while we create and contribute to community structures all to support our own self-serving objectives.  We all individually grow through this internal conflict of chaos to resolution.  We ultimately define ourselves by our tribe, our ideals, our expectations and our responsibilities to people who are “like me” all driven by the animalistic instincts of self-interest.

We progressed as a species and further sub-divided into ideological and social constructs that established additional unique tribal alliances. These sub-groupings led to further chaos and division. Tremendous human suffering ensued as each tribe and society battled for relevance and superiority over “the others” … driven by the animalistic desires for survival by dominance over natural resources for sustainability of one’s self-interests.

Further Chaos The Path to Enlightenment

Each tribe and community group established social compacts based on love and mutual consideration. That is the spiritual feminine energy of nurturing and caring for one-another within the group, this too was driven by self-interest of mutual survival.  We encourage each individual within our groups to pursue their dreams and ideals to better self-serve the interest of the group.

Since the world is now fully explored and basic survival is no longer the driving force of our character, we are expanding into the enlightenment phase of human development.  We are moving beyond the individual enlightenment of self-interest to a holistic ideal of altruistic selflessness.

Our children realize that our future cannot sustain the animalistic processes of self-interest and dominance of one group over another for survival. As all previous generations before them they feel it deep down inside that the system requires change. They have yet to individually mature to the point of actual acceptance of “the others” as they perceive them.

The chaos will continue as long as we clutch to our tribal identities. We do this by negative stereotype labeling of “the others”.  Labels of socialist or capitalist’s, bigots and racists, Nazi-Fascist, religious fanatic, homophobic, greedy, lazy, selfish, ignorant, stupid, careless and any other negative identity that they can assign to “the others” … this is a last ditch attempt to hold on their individual selfish egotistical identities.

The Path to Further Enlightenment

We are now uniting as a global tribe and we need to unite the ideologies from all sides of self-interest. Into a positive agenda that moves beyond basic survival of the individual and our tribal identities towards our ultimate spiritual character traits of thriving as a unified whole.

This is reflected in the desire of millions of people who see the imbalance of power and resources and thereby seek to rectify this injustice by demanding fundamental changes within the hierarchy of civilization.  Balancing this dichotomy within the psyche of the individual is spiritual attainment, but is reaching this balance within our physical reality ever attainable?

Will we ever stop ascending as a species toward dominating our physical reality?  Are we capable of uniting around the spiritual ideals we strive for individually?  Ask yourself  are you willing to fully accept and acknowledge “the others” however they are labeled?

Test yourself by asking how open-minded and accepting you are of others.  Are we entrenched in non-acceptance of others or are we evolving toward greater spiritual attainment?

For now it’s a path for you as an individual, are you on the path?

Spiritual Reality Revealed is Wisdom

The process of life begins from a pure space of unlimited possibilities, the positive (God/Spiritual) force.  From that space of unlimited possibilities intentions and actions are manifested and connect to our physical ecosystem, the negative (grounding) force.

As individuals within the system, every action which affected us begins to create the mosaic of our lives.   This process molds us and manipulates us as part of the whole; that is everything that we interact with throughout our lives manifests in what we become.

As babies we’re born into a world that totally protects us and works on our behalf to incorporate us into its ecosystem.  Every decision and action is made for us to begin the design of our life.  We are molded by our parent(s) our immediate family, the extended family, friends and strangers within our community. The food we eat, surrounding nature, animals, accidents, weather, all influence us uniquely.

Our language, culture, religious and political views are all molded into us by our environment. Do we really have free will in this process? No, but as we mature and grow within our ecosystem we imagine that we have free choice, but do we?  Advanced societies insist that we learn manners and civil behaviors; we learn to read and write and to provide for ourselves to sustain our existence as part of the whole.

Alas, as adults we graduate from the molding and manipulation from our environment; we can support ourselves and maintain our own existence as part of the whole.  Do we now have free will?  We have some limited freedoms within the grounded structures of our existence.  We cannot jump off a 10 ft building and fly (yet).  Everything that makes us who we are is attached to actions that have manifested as the mosaic of our lives.

Your income, your food preferences, your religious ideologies, political views, favorite sport teams and everything that makes you who you are comes from actions within your environment.   The only real control we can exercise in our own development is the environment in which we put ourselves.  The space of “Unlimited Possibilities” is attached to a series of actions that lead to where we find ourselves within our own ecosystem, this is called our reality.

The further we explore our reality the greater perception we receive because we can see the connections in all the branches that manifest within our reality.  We can see how everything moves, connects and influences the other.  We see where things are broken, we can see ways to reconnect disconnects and we see opposing forces from both sides. This gives us tremendous insights and leads to clairvoyance of understanding, this is called wisdom.

When we discover that we remain stuck or attached to something, know that that is limiting our perception.  It’s like watching a sporting event with a connection to a specific team; we are much more likely to be polluted in our observations in favor of our team.  If you’re watching without an attachment to a preferred outcome your observations are much purer.

In areas of religion, atheism, politics, nationalism, racism, etc.  Find where you’re stuck and find a way to break free.   This will lead you further down the path of spiritual enlightenment and allow you the wisdom to better help others.

Here’s a challenge you can take on yourself or share with others to help them in exploring greater reason and comprehension.  Assignment to expand your spiritual comprehension.

Assignment to Expand Your Spiritual Comprehension, Are You Up to The Task?

Here is a very deep and challenging assignment to push your own spiritual comprehension. You can do this alone or do it with your own circle of spiritual companions.  I invite you to take on this challenge and share your results.

spiritual

Step One: Select The Spiritual Topic or Topics to Explore
This is a writing assignment.  Write on a topic you’re absolutely certain about.  The best topic you can choose for expansion is one that you feel very strongly about.  Religion and politics are strange bedfellows at identifying blockages in our own spiritual comprehension.

Write out the question and then give the answer?   Write the answer with the greatest most obvious details you can provide to validate your position.

Step Two: Be Mindful of All Your Inner Feelings as You Engage.
After you write out the question and provide your exact answer it’s time to push yourself.  Your next step is to rewrite the question and change the answer to read the exact opposite of what you wrote in step one.

Wow! … Perhaps you’re not even able to do this?  That is an immediate insight into your own internal spiritual make-up.   Can you make yourself do this exercise?  It takes great open-minded comprehension and courage to explore where you are uncomfortable.   If you are not able to do this have someone else write it out for you.

Step Three: Push to Greater Awareness Building a Stronger Character
Now read the opposite point of view out-loud slowly with conviction.  Focus on your feelings and inner sensations as you force yourself to read out-loud words that challenge your own beliefs on the subject.   What is it you are learning about yourself as you explore your internal sensations while doing this?

Step Four: Prove Your Spiritual Mastery Gaining Even Greater Awareness
Now I ask you to answer this next question with all honesty and clear thinking.  Is this opposite point of view valid to anyone else?   How would someone who holds that opposite view defend their position?

Here is your final step to validate your mastery if you are capable of completing it.  Can you or will you do this? Write an article that defends the opposite point of view,  can you do that effectively?  Why is such a position, opposite to your own personal views, valid to someone else? Can you explore inside yourself and find your answers to this?  Can you force yourself to explore the opposite feelings and conclusions; ones that contradict your own comprehension?  This is the biggest and hardest step that needs to be taken to prove your own spiritual mastery.

Are you spiritually big enough to do this? Are you able to challenge your biggest limitation to growth? Take on your own ego attachment to connections you hold so dear? Can you free yourself from your own limitations and push through to greater enlightened understanding?

I guarantee that if you can take it on sincerely you will experience the biggest most profound expansion in your own spiritual consciousness.   If you dare to take this challenging step you are sure to grow immensely in your comprehension.  When you can complete this assignment easily without internal spiritual disruptions, you have obtained mastery; you are now a master ready and fully able to help others.  A master can really help others who seek insights no matter where they are in their spiritual quest.  Are you a spiritual master yet?

Discovering Spirituality – The Spiritual Quest

As the discourse on discovering spirituality progressed I was spell bound at the edge of my seat as I sat and listened with keen interest.  “A box with five openings, that’s me”, so the opening to the public presentation began.

Yes, my five senses are the tools I use to master the physical word.  What world did Helen Keller live in? Could I ever experience her world?  It scared me to contemplate such a condition.  Yet the more I thought about it the more it began to touch something within me that was bigger and more expansive than knowledge or experience.

I began to comprehend an entirely new way of understanding my own life and all that fills it.  Like when a small child first comprehends how counting from 1 to 10 connects to counting from 10 to 20; the light goes off and you just get it!

I was totally engaged as I listened to this fresh topic of conversation. The information pushed me and pulled me in different directions. I was thrown about in a raging river of conflicting thoughts and feelings.  I was confused and yet simultaneously fulfilled with an inner satisfaction that I admit I find hard to explain.

Trust me it’s an incredible experience yet really hard to explain with words alone.  I promise to do my best to explain it, and I assure you if you get to this place these words will ring true for you too.  Again, I will try to explain using the very limiting communication tool of written words.

Imagine trying to explain, through an interpreter, what a small bird is to Helen Keller, she was deaf and blind. You could talk for hours explaining in great detail about all the bird’s unique characteristics. The birds color, the texture of their wings, their beak, how they fly and sour through the sky, how they maneuver through tight tree limbs, how they sing with beautiful harmonic resonance that is pleasing to the ear.

You could spend hundreds of hours with endless explanations and yet never truly convey your attainment of seeing and hearing that small bird. As I listened to these new spiritual concepts being presented I thought, what would I understand if I lost my hearing and my sight?

I tried to imagine what Helen Keller’s perception of life was like?  Helen Keller had never even experienced sight or hearing at all, what did she base her perceptions on I wondered?  I began to explore all these new sensations swirling within me.  My insides were being torn apart as I tried to comprehend this unexplored space within myself.  I felt disconnected from my own being and yet even more deeply connected at the same time.

I thought deeper and deeper about it; who am I?  I am aware that I exist but how?  I see, I hear, I taste, I feel and I smell.  This was the surface topic of discussion but it took me deep within myself.   I listened intently while simultaneously exploring the tumultuous sensations in my core Being.

As I listened further to the discourse I was so enthralled from within.  Like I completely understood the subject matter yet at the same time the words and concepts were all foreign to me.  It was like I was eating foods I was familiar with yet the preparation styles and seasonings were not familiar to me at all.  They were completely foreign to my pallet and yet my desire was such that I craved to eat more and more.  I was almost hypnotized like I had a piece of warm chocolate fudge melting in my mouth.  I was lost in the incredible satisfaction of this experience.

Words are so hard to share on this topic, and no I was not on drugs or drinking alcohol. The truth is I was learning and everything was fresh and new, yet somehow I knew the topic of conversation.  The discussions were ultimately helping me to discover myself at a deeper level, looking from the outside in at myself as a person.

I began to explore within myself how all these interactions via my senses explained my world.  I have interactions with nature and with other people and they are totally unique to me.  What could I learn by further exploring these deeper inner sensations to comprehend and understand who I am in relationship to the world around me?

I realized that I really had no control at all over anyone or anything around me.  It was like I was a sci-fy probe put here to measure and experience life, not to control it.  I began to sense the need to discern how it is I am connected with the world around me.  This began my journey into spirituality. I began to discover a new higher level of awareness in experiencing life and in grasping reality.

If my words have touched you at all; if you yearn for something more but can’t quite put your finger on it,  I invite you in to explore with me and other like-minded people. Discover a deeper perception of life and reality. Discern a bigger community and a bigger connection to humanity and the world of nature to which we are connected. Discover with us a deeper more satisfying life, experiencing life in a fuller more complete way.

You are always welcome here to share in the Spiritual Quest.

Spirituality and The Path of Ascension

What goes on in our heads is a network of ideas and beliefs that have been formulated by our own experiences, our community, our society and our dna. What control do we exercise over our development? In Kabbalah we say we have no freedom, we are products of our environment. The only control we exercise in our own development is in the environment we put ourselves.

Chances are the person most open-minded is the person who has held many beliefs but is always questioning those beliefs. The process of asking the question is the only way to get the answer. The truth is in the question not in the answer. Any answer by definition is limited to the perspective of the individual making the conclusion.

Once we believe we have “the truth” we are done growing. Until we question our own conclusions we will stay stuck in “our truth”. Truth is in everything and in everyone; and until we can accept everyone and everything we will not obtain “the truth”. Words and arguments are so limiting and weighty, while openness and love is so empowering and rich with blessings. The minute we feel the need to defend our position we are stuck in a limited belief.

We don’t stop a belief or drop an understanding we expand our understanding to encompass more. Most of us know what it’s like to be a small child believing in Santa Claus; we still believe just in larger more encompassing way. Learn how to open your heart and mind to what others have to say, especially those who disagree with your conclusions.

This is a fabulous way to fast-track your own understanding and spiritual development, we don’t need to defend our positions because there is nothing to defend. The truth is not a belief it’s a process. A process of accepting and understanding everything and everyone with love.

Stay open and stay loving with those with whom you disagree and you’ll see the wealth of wisdom that resides inside your own consciousness. No need to fix anyone else or prove your wisdom that’s the ego talking. Your path is a process of accepting … we call it ascension or elevation where you begin to see things from a much higher point of view, a view above reason.

Using Ego as a Tool For Spiritual Growth

EGO … we are quick to assign it as a negative characteristic, yet it’s a part of who we are and it is a tool that moves us toward greater enlightenment. Our drive as humans to progress is an internal disruption, a sensation that requires resolution as our egos must know what true reality is.

How does the ego come to know the true reality? It all begins with information accumulation. As we acquire information we define it and categorize it and it becomes “our truth”, which indeed it is, but is it “the truth”?

Once it was a true reality that the earth was flat …it was truth based on all human observation and community understanding of the time. Yet today would we say that was truth? Truth is a perspective relative to our own conclusions. How do we break the hold our ego’s have on “our truth”?

The first indication of a “break-through moment” is when you ask a question within yourself that challenges your current belief. The very fact that you ask the question is evidence that you’re ready to expand your truth. “Ask and you shall receive” was the promise; the action of the request demands that the ego gets the answer.

When someone else asks you a question that challenges your current belief that’s a different situation all together. The ego now takes over all reasoning and it is set-up to defend itself at all costs. The question itself does not lead to growth … it’s whose asking it.

Are you trying to grow, ascend and become enlightened? Do you want to see and experience true peace within yourself and within the world? Sadly most people are stuck in an ego belief system that keeps them held back from such growth.

What makes us identify ourselves as a Christian or a Muslim, a Democrat or Republican, a Conservative or Liberal, the 99% vs. the 1%? These are all egocentric identifications that have deeply planted roots within our psyche defining who we are. Can you uproot these limiting conclusions without compromising your identity?

Do we really need to defend our egocentric identification with some truth? We can choose to leverage our ego; to use it as the driving factor behind uniting and connecting with those with whom we disagree. When we consciously seek to find areas of connection with those with whom we disagree we can make rapid spiritual progress toward enlightenment. We quickly start seeing things differently, more clearly, creating a loving unifying internal sensation.

When you reach a point of leveraging your ego to always being open minded you’ll discover a vast resource of reasoning that will provide you with limitless powers of comprehension and insight. You will discover a love and a connection with those with whom you disagree.

When you stop fighting to support “your idea” you see that any idea is always irrelevant to the Truth of love. We can individually ascend to this ultimate love awareness by choosing to do so. Can we as a community and as a species move to the ultimate reality of … “love thy enemy as we do ourselves”? This is “The Truth” that will set you free!

Spirituality Grows With Change … Accelerate Your Growth

What is it you and your society consider “right” and “wrong” today? Perhaps what you considered “wrong” in the not-too-distant past, you might consider it okay or “right” today. How do we know what is “right”? Do we sit in judgment of another who fails to accept our own ideas about what is “right” and “wrong”? Genuine spiritual growth requires that we evolve and change our definitions of “right” and “wrong” to include others with whom we sometimes disagree.

Changing your ideas of what is “right” and “wrong” is the path of growth. You have to be open to changing your ideas, or you will limit your own spiritual growth. Change is the process of life and growth. We have to change as our world does. Our values must change too … just think of what morality was 50 years ago with respects to child rearing and modest attire.

The problem we face individually in meeting the change requirements of life is that we insist on believing that the values we have are the “right ones”. You should of course hold onto the beliefs that serve you well, as your ideas about “right” and “wrong” are the definitions for Who You Are. But do not stay “stuck” in your present beliefs if they are not serving you. A non wed pregnant teen may not meet your ideal “right” and “wrong” scenario, always be open to changing your mental constructs about “right” and “wrong”.

NEVER require another person to define themselves according to your terms of “right” and “wrong” … NEVER allow another to define that for you either. Believing that you can or should manage the growth and expansion of others, even our own children or a spouse, is a path filled with pain for you and them. You can influence others but not actually restrict them even if you wanted to; each life goes on progressing at its own pace.

Remaining the same … or seeking to, moves against the laws of life. This is foolish, because in this struggle, life will always win out. Nothing stays the same, everything is changing. Learn to influence where you can but remain open to change your truth!

Be open to change the notions of your truth, be willing to expand your internal structures of thought. Allow the deepest truths of who you are to be altered. A new broader description and idea of Who You Are is where the growth is. When you challenge your beliefs you accelerate your own growth and experience in life. Your new ideas mean your story begins anew. A better more fulfilling you and that process and your story will never end as long as you keep living via the process of expansion by change.

Please don’t close yourself off from the possibility of new truth because you have been comfortable with an old one. Your life expands at the end of “your” comfort zone. Your being open to new “truths” is where the excitement lives, that’s where you and your relationship with life becomes more fully realized; more fulfilling, more challenging, more expansive, more joyful, more happy, more complex, more enlightened, better balanced, etc.

So if it’s music preferences … religious preferences … body piercings and tattoos … sexual orientation … sexual encounters … pregnancies and offspring … divorce and cheating … parenting and teaching … political views and associations … remember there is room in this world for every person regardless of how we define “right” and “wrong”. By our showing love in all of these malformed or right formed conclusions we expand who we are and become more like our Heavenly Father who IS LOVE …

Avoid standing in judgment of another person’s “right” and “wrong” that contradicts your own. Another person’s mistakes are their own living and growth experiences. Another person’s choices and decisions are just as important to their life experience. Allow others to grow too.

No matter how “good” you think things have been, they can be better. No matter how wonderful you think your truth is, it will be even more wonderful if you stay open to change. Expand change and grow it’s the process of living a satisfied spiritually rich life.

Judgment – Judgmental – Judging

Judgment … judgmental … judging … all these are terms that float around, they’re typically what one perceives as wrong. Well then what is wrong, or what is right … with anything? “Wrong” is a relative term, related to a previous judgment we’ve made on what we’ve decided is “right.”

Okay so now, let’s stay positive, what is “right”? Can you be objective in determining what’s right? “Right”, and wrong for that matter, are simply descriptions overlaid on events and circumstances experienced by you; and then your conclusions are added to your accumulated experiences. Your experiences are one of a kind; therefore your conclusions are based on a limited amount of data, only your experiences.

Next we seek acceptance from our own peers and community. So we’re quick to adopt our society’s truth on what’s right and wrong. Very few of our daily decisions about what is “right” and “wrong” are being made by us dealing with the facts of the moment, they are based on this accumulated intellectual structure we’ve built in our mind. Our own understanding of right and wrong.

Okay so one day you’re in a conversation with another person who has a different conclusion than you do on a certain matter. How do you respond, how do they respond when the conflict is realized? Usually we seek to straighten out the other persons view by exposing them to our conclusions.

Imagine if they were engaged in your conclusions, listening with intensity and probing with inquisitive questions, seeking to understand you. They are intrigued, asking themselves, “how could another person who’s lived and experienced life gotten it so wrong?” As they listen and probe what are they experiencing? They are growing in enlightenment, they are expanding their perceptions enlarging their spiritual comprehension.

I ask that you be the open one … you be the one to seek and understand those with whom you disagree. You be the bigger, wiser and more mature one. Your listening carefully and understanding another puts you head and shoulders above those who remain stuck in ruts of limited experiences. Those who hold rigid judgmental views are usually the ones who yell the loudest, speak the most, and are quick to condemn or belittle others.

The fastest way to enlightenment is to embrace those we condemn or whom condemn us. Embrace those with whom we disagree and the issues we fear most. The exposure to these concepts and ideas will broaden your perspective in the fastest way possible. It’s the way to reveal the light, bring your light to the darkness you perceive around you. Don’t try and fight it or hide from it … embrace it and you’ll be amazed at how fast you’ll reach a high spiritual enlightened perspective.

“There is no right or wrong there only IS” … “IS” we define it from a perspective … so expand it at every opportunity. There are a lot of opportunities in life for you to move forward at lightening speed, if you adopt a Spiritually Open Minded spirit with others. Why not start right now by examining your own history on interactions with others? Find the friend or foe who can help you expand and grow !
