Illegal Immigration Debate in America

This issue has the people of America deeply torn by the desire to care for the needy while simultaneously sensing the crisis is the opposite.

The growing problems associated with illegal migration are hurting people on all sides of the issue.   Children are suffering in encampments that remain underfunded, while other children are trafficked as a “free-pass” entry ticket into the United States.   Many girls are sexually assaulted on the horrific journey north overseen by criminal cartels; sadly many have been killed in the process.

The 2020 Presidential Candidates were asked at the debate, “Raise your hand if your government plan would provide coverage for undocumented immigrants.” All ten candidates raised their hands in support of the idea.

Health coverage for non-citizen undocumented immigrants appears on the surface to be a loving and spiritually uplifting concept, but is it really? Such an obvious pandering is certain to increase the chaos surrounding this issue. The rule of law seems to no longer matter.  While this is true in many places throughout the world; is this now the new ideal for America?

Warning a Catastrophic Event is on The Horizon

The plight of overcrowding and lawlessness in sanctuary cities has led to large numbers of homeless Americans being displaced. Look at what’s being experienced in California right now, there are countless homeless American’s living on the streets.

Is this some kind of new enlightened community? Is this the new neighborhood we want to build for everyone in America? This issue has the people of America deeply torn by the desire to care for needy humans, while simultaneously sensing the crisis is actually doing the opposite. It is clearly becoming unmanageable chaos; where are the sane voices?

Where Do You Stand on The Illegal Migration Crisis

There seems to be two recurring narratives around the immigration crisis in America. One is attacking the process and pinning blame on everything and everyone associated with the issue.  The other-side is looking for solutions to solve the problems generated by the crisis but they are attacked rather than supported. Where do you stand?

Sadly many of the usually moderate voices are becoming more and more aggressive and belligerent. Hatred toward “the others” point of view trump’s reason and rational thinking.  Regardless of your political allegiance there is a serious crisis that needs to be fixed.

Serious storm clouds of hostility are on the horizon. Rather than further the divides by gas-lighting the issue, please use your voice to demand honest healthy solutions from your Representatives in Congress.
Please weigh-in asking them these questions regarding the American system.

1. What does the rule of law mean?
2. Who creates the laws and who enforces them?
3. If someone disagrees with certain laws is it okay for them to break them?
4. Is it okay for government officials not enforce them?

Please let your voice be one of rational and loving concern for the poor suffering citizens who have no voice. The hostility and hate surrounding this issue is hurting everyone involved on all sides. We need voices of sincere rational people to demand a fix to this crisis and quickly.

Humanities Transformation into Spiritual Adulthood

Here is a hypothesis on human transformation into adulthood, presented as a supposition or proposed explanation to explain the chaos engulfing America and western civilization.  This is presented as a starting point for a discussion to further explore and investigate ourselves from a spiritual point of view.

By spiritual we mean beyond the limited structure of science, math and deductive reasoning the foundations of Western Civilization; to also include the esoteric, emotional, supernatural and other phenomenon that penetrate the human psyche.

Individual Chaos The Path to Sanity

As individuals we grow by pursuing our own desires as we seek to satisfy ourselves entirely.  We learned to balance our individual animalistic tendencies to encompass our tribal ideals and cultural expectations to maximize our self-serving interests.

Humanity as a collective has been growing and developing along this same egotistical self-serving path since the beginning of time. People have been dividing by family and then geography into local communities. Next we developed allegiances to regional group identities. This development process was also driven by our individual desires for sanity and survival.

We individually love and hate as we battle for supremacy in our relationships, while we create and contribute to community structures all to support our own self-serving objectives.  We all individually grow through this internal conflict of chaos to resolution.  We ultimately define ourselves by our tribe, our ideals, our expectations and our responsibilities to people who are “like me” all driven by the animalistic instincts of self-interest.

We progressed as a species and further sub-divided into ideological and social constructs that established additional unique tribal alliances. These sub-groupings led to further chaos and division. Tremendous human suffering ensued as each tribe and society battled for relevance and superiority over “the others” … driven by the animalistic desires for survival by dominance over natural resources for sustainability of one’s self-interests.

Further Chaos The Path to Enlightenment

Each tribe and community group established social compacts based on love and mutual consideration. That is the spiritual feminine energy of nurturing and caring for one-another within the group, this too was driven by self-interest of mutual survival.  We encourage each individual within our groups to pursue their dreams and ideals to better self-serve the interest of the group.

Since the world is now fully explored and basic survival is no longer the driving force of our character, we are expanding into the enlightenment phase of human development.  We are moving beyond the individual enlightenment of self-interest to a holistic ideal of altruistic selflessness.

Our children realize that our future cannot sustain the animalistic processes of self-interest and dominance of one group over another for survival. As all previous generations before them they feel it deep down inside that the system requires change. They have yet to individually mature to the point of actual acceptance of “the others” as they perceive them.

The chaos will continue as long as we clutch to our tribal identities. We do this by negative stereotype labeling of “the others”.  Labels of socialist or capitalist’s, bigots and racists, Nazi-Fascist, religious fanatic, homophobic, greedy, lazy, selfish, ignorant, stupid, careless and any other negative identity that they can assign to “the others” … this is a last ditch attempt to hold on their individual selfish egotistical identities.

The Path to Further Enlightenment

We are now uniting as a global tribe and we need to unite the ideologies from all sides of self-interest. Into a positive agenda that moves beyond basic survival of the individual and our tribal identities towards our ultimate spiritual character traits of thriving as a unified whole.

This is reflected in the desire of millions of people who see the imbalance of power and resources and thereby seek to rectify this injustice by demanding fundamental changes within the hierarchy of civilization.  Balancing this dichotomy within the psyche of the individual is spiritual attainment, but is reaching this balance within our physical reality ever attainable?

Will we ever stop ascending as a species toward dominating our physical reality?  Are we capable of uniting around the spiritual ideals we strive for individually?  Ask yourself  are you willing to fully accept and acknowledge “the others” however they are labeled?

Test yourself by asking how open-minded and accepting you are of others.  Are we entrenched in non-acceptance of others or are we evolving toward greater spiritual attainment?

For now it’s a path for you as an individual, are you on the path?

The Spiritual Intellectual Dark Web

Perhaps the mirror term of the “Intellectual Light Web” may be more appropriate for those of us in the spiritual community.

The “Intellectual Dark Web” is the label assigned to the online community of great thinkers who dare to challenge conventional thought and traditions.  Perhaps the mirror term of the “Intellectual Light Web” may be more appropriate for those of us in the spiritual community.  Would Brett or Eric Weinstein agree?

As we now embark on the new territory of openness with the digital world, chaos is becoming ever more visible.  Perhaps we are revisiting the ever repeating patterns that move us in the direction of greater enlightenment?  With open-minds and open hearts we engage one another to discover areas of agreement within the complex world of human discovery.

These deep thinkers and powerful people like those in the past are attacked and criticized by their peers.  Nicolaus Copernicus, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. are but a few who dared to challenge the majority opinion to push for change.

Two of these men, Sam Harris and Dr. Jordan B Peterson are worthy of your attention because they dare to buck the tide and challenge rigid group-think with honest open dialog.

Also there are contrarian thinkers like Thomas Sowell and Dr. Michael Laitman, men who dare to challenge conventional thinkers in their own sphere of influence. I encourage you to watch their way of communicating with others. How they transfer complex ideas that have deep emotional attachments without being sucked down the rabbit-hole into personal attacks of identity politics.

These deep thinkers can agree and disagree on profound understandings without losing their spiritual balance.  I encourage you to connect with these powerful figures in our enlightened society and watch their discussions. See their disagreements on complex issues.  You may agree and disagree with them simultaneously on the same points of exploration. What can we learn from these great thinkers in the “Intellectual Dark Web“?

Learn to Discover Your Inner Balance
What can you offer to help heal the divides that have become so ridged over the last few years in our communities?  The answer lies inside of each one of us, in our spiritual space where our mind, soul and intellect combine.  Where we dare challenge our own thinking and conclusions.  How can you find areas of agreement with those to whom you disagree?

Which Side Are You On?
More and more people seem to line up with blind allegiance to their point of view. They echo the chorus of cries against their opponents on the other side.   Many of these people are becoming more and more critical of what they perceive as “The Others” … while simultaneously less critical of their own ideological companions. Both sides use labeling and identity politics to sharpen the divides.

The Fake-News Pundits and The Media
Sadly the original watchdog over abuse of power was the media; but they seem to have joined in the fight.  They are now sources of propaganda using “Fake-News” stories; driven by bloviating pundits on both sides.  A balanced delivery of news is no longer available, everything is slanted by ideology and few people are willing to explore an opposing point of view with an open-mind.

Social Media Outlets
The social media platforms, that should be open sources of information, are edited in support of personal biases or they suppress and hide what’s perceived as opposing ideas.  People are deleting friends and family whose opposite opinions they refuse to acknowledge or even contemplate via a constructive dialog. Colleges, the place for open exchange and debate over ideas, have been hijacked by strong ideologues wishing to silence opposing views.

The Spiritual Communities and Peacemakers
The moderate minded individuals that make up the majority of our communities, remain silent out of fear of being labeled as uncivil or worse attacked as a racist, a bigot, or worse a Nazi if they dare cross an ideological line defined by the mob.  Please don’t let your voice be silenced, add your comments about your thinking to this discussion topic.

How Do We Balance This Tumultuous Situation in Our Own Spiritual Space?
First recognize that there is incivility in all of us; acknowledging that within ourselves first is paramount.  Next remember there is the capacity for love in everyone, look to find that in the people who disagree with you.

What Can We Do in This Strained Environment?
To be healers and promoters of love and civility we need to be big.  If you only love your friends and your ideological companions are you really spiritually mature?  We need to show civility to the enemies and the haters on both sides of the divide.   Show your individual courage by challenging those in your own ideological sphere of influence when abusive attacks arise.   Also learn to apologize and to accept them readily.

When among strangers be patient, long-suffering and kind.  Find the person behind their ideological curtain and connect as a fellow human.   Ask lots of questions to allow the hostility to flow, allow them the room and encouragement to communicate their passion. Let people tell their story.  Listen with ears of compassion, don’t challenge or redirect their views, rather draw them out acknowledge their stories and ideas.

Listen to Voices of Descent … Let All Be Heard
Every person is entitled to be heard and sadly very few people are being heard right now.  Use kind words of unity and focus others with questions to draw out thoughtful exchanges.  Learn to hear everyone else’s voice and the peace of wisdom will fill your heart and your head to communicate effectively with everyone.

Until we can fully hear and acknowledge the cries of others they will not be able to hear us talking from the other-side.  Please share your critiques and comments on this ever increasing problematic issue among ourselves.

Spiritual Peace … Is Fairness and Equality The Answer?

Successful relationships among people requires a 100% committed effort by all toward the success and strength of the relationship. Equal 50% – 50% contributions to mandate equality will never lead to long-term success. Rather a 100% commitment to the success of the relationship by each individual involved is the formula for success. Equality is the formula for failure.

Without some bias or “politically correct” indoctrination, any reasonable evaluation on mankind, by a fair-minded individual, will acknowledge that the evidence is overwhelming that all men are not created equal. Some are born physically strong, others mentally tough and intelligent, some are caring and nurturing, some are tough and rugged, some are male and some are female, some are trans-gendered, some are cross gendered some are dual gendered, some are tall, some are short, some are bald others hairy, some are fair skinned others dark skinned. By any reasonable unbiased observer the facts are overwhelming that nothing is equal about the individuals that make up mankind. Most reflect a combination of the above referenced differences and we could add a thousand more to the list to multiply the diversity.

Nowhere in nature does equality exist. It’s a human concept that is doomed to failure.  A seed that lands in a field by the river in rich soil will grow taller and stronger than a seed that lands at the bottom of a dense forest. Is it fair that one seed gets better conditions in which to grow? How difficult a process would it be for us to plant trees and focus on equality for every tree. Would that lead to more growth or less overall? Such an undertaking would be extremely difficult to manage because we would have to cut back every strong tree.

If we still relied on trees to build houses and heat our homes would an equality approach be sensible? It is a certainty that we achieve less overall when equality is the goal. Now what result would such an approach have among mankind, would we thrive if we tried to make equality a goal? Such endeavors are misguided and show a lack of appreciation for nature.

Equality is the source of every division and problem in our world. We cannot fight against nature and expect to succeed. The minute we begin to put energies into fighting against nature, by demanding equality within the system, the whole system suffers. We hurt ourselves and the collective suffers too. Hurt and pain to other individuals within the collective are the direct result of seeking equality, such an endeavor is the wrong approach.

The spiritual approach to peace and harmony is where every individual human being needs to be recognized and be nurtured to grow to their fullest potential. Not tearing down the successful to accommodate the weak but rather supporting the weak to find their place within the overall collective system to contribute back to the whole.

Peace comes through 100% acceptance of others and a 100% commitment to supporting the collective well being of all in the system. This is holistic spiritual unity. This is the spiritual approach that will lead humankind to great heights as we work together as a collective for the good of all, and not by seeking equality taking sides one against the other.
